** Youth

Kimberling City United Methodist Youth Ministry is here to help youth grow in their knowledge and understanding of God, as well as to have a safe environment to have fun with fellow Christians.

What is Youth Group?

Youth is a organized fellowship with Christ. This is a time that you can come and hang out with friends while learning different ways to come closer to Christ. This is a way to express who you really are without fear of being made fun of or being treated different.

Parents

You are asked to help bring them to God. You are asked to show them the way to Christ that they may seek him with their hearts and minds. Youth Group is a way to help you in bringing them to Christ. Here they get a chance to learn and grow using teaching methods that are on their level.

"The people brought children to Jesus, hoping he might touch them. The disciples shooed them off. But Jesus was irate and let them know it: "Don't push these children away. Don't ever get between them and me. These children are at the very center of life in the kingdom. Mark this: Unless you accept God's kingdom in the simplicity of a child, you'll never get in." Then gathering the children up in his arms, he laid his hands of blessing on them." (Mark 10:14)
